Tears are washed away by the waters of time,no pain remains
I skip old muddy streets on my way back home ,on rainy days
The drizzling plays to me the same old song,of those crazy ways
When there was always a couplet but now it's just a lonely phrase
I gather some new words, try to impart some sense to my sunrise verse
I feel the sunlight seep in through my mind's windows, sorrows dispersed
Vivid memories with wounds healing but bleeding still, the smile coerced
I move on yet I stand firm,I rehearse to be strong,to get my reimburse
Storms and rains drench me and leave me half-way,with nowhere to go
I pull myself together in my own arms, carry myself a step futher, slow
With even my shadow at my feet, distanced,in silence intense I walk alone
I'm back on the known streets, back cosy by the fire alone,in my own home
