Sleep

A random poem I wrote a while ago,thought of posting it here - finally.

Sleep and Dreams

When i close my eyes and turn to sleep,
I begin to read ma thoughts and mind,bit deep
Reality that i escape from in the daylight,when I'm wide awake
catches me with no where to go,no window to escape,to break
Have you ever cried to sleep,without a soul to console you through the night?
Your dreams begin to creep to you,they torment and speak to you,
Even the sunshine,in the mind,shadows your light and smiles,no delight
Your dreams begin to weep to you,distanced far,they try to reach to you.

Binding you and holding you tight,you try to wake to escape to the light
Strangling you and suffocating your dare to fight,they pull you down when you almost reach the height
